Cal Wheeler led our ride to Moncks Corner, SC for a visit to the Mipkin Abbey. On the way there we stopped at Francis Marion's ( the Swamp Fox) grave site and a bite to eat at Harry's Fish Camp. Was a HOT one but we had a great day thanks to Cal.

Casey took us on a North West Ride on this HOT Saturday up around North Carolina and back to Smitty's house in Longs S,C. for a bar-b-q in honor of Michael Smith's graduation. Mike is our youngest HOG member and also, as Casey has stated, the only one to have graduated while being a member!

The July 2009 Chapter Meeting had a great turnout of approximately 100 people. We had the Honor and Privilege to witness the Missing Man Table Ceremony presented by our Rolling Thunder Chapter friends. Click on the first picture of the Table for an explanation of the setting.

The Harley Bike Week 2009. May 16, 2009 we had a ride around the Northern side of Horry County. We did get WET but still had a good time following Glen. Also have a few pictures here from Martha who with a few other members went up to the South Carolina Harley Dealerships rally in NC. They played in the MUD but still had a good time. Harley riders don't let the weather get in the way! Wondering what this Album Cover Picture is? It is a watermelon on a post used as a road direction marker!

Glenn led the chapter and guests on a great 140 mile ride around the southern part of Horry and part of Georgetown County. We had 30 bikes and 37 people, including some repeat guests from previous years rides. We had bikers from Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey and Quebec. The weather was perfect, the ride was super and everyone had a great time.

Under a cloudy, but dry, sky we gathered at the Harley Dealership for our quarterly Highway Trash Pickup. Following our work we had our annual Bike Blessing. Pastor John Rea from the Legacy Church gave the blessing. Our thanks to Pastor John and also the CMA folks, who once again supplied us with hot coffee and delecious donuts.

Saturday morning March 7, 2008 was one of those perfect riding days. We had 28 bikes with anxious riders ready to roll at 9:00 AM. We rode south to visit the Mipkin Abbey down near Moncks Corners. The visit was great and we then left there to,what else, EAT! Went to Harry's Fish Camp for a hearty meal. Headed back home after lunch and really enjoyed a full day of fun. Thanks to Cal who was our road captain and trip planner.
